It was what? A $2000 fine? Dont see how that impacts his chances.
I think his age has a bigger impact over some petty fine.

I don't know . . . it sort of begs the real question that led to all of that - should Liljegren be on the ice with less than 4 minutes to go? Look, maybe he rounds into being a solid D-Man like a lot of people here think. I don't see it. I see a guy who wilts under pressure, has little poise, and I don't see much offensive upside. But hey. We'll see. That was as obvious a holding call as he could make.

Leafs with a big win but the Columbus goalie made some big saves (looks like he got fairly lucky a few times) and Leafs didn’t get that.

Regardless it’s a win and battling through those types of games and getting the win is great.

I still feel like the Leafs probably need a Muzzin replacement + some D help / Holl replacement and maybe goaltending depth.

Mrazek at 3.8 isn’t looking great.

I think the younger guys have an edge because of age. I just don't think the diving fine is even a thing. Never heard of that before.
