This sites fantasy league is dumb. I've only done it one week of one year.

Trumps out of office. Can they re-hire that goalie coach who he personally credits turning him around mentally again?

Unfortunately people aren't allowed to share political opinions if they're unpopular.

Begin year - very little traffic/deflections

Now - lots of traffic/deflections

As bad as Muzz has been this year, they miss him greatly.

GLG

- Garnie

They miss last year Muzzin. This year’s version hasn’t done much to clear traffic.

Covid made it tough, but winning consistently takes some effort. Eklund is 5 and 14, my team sitting at 17 and 2

It's time someone in the NHL finally tries putting a sumo wrestler in net.
- Atomic Wedgie

You’ve never seen the time a sumo wrestler went in net and they had George Parros taking shots at him and scoring at will?

If rebound control is Going to continue to be an issue and it looks like it may be for a while… Clearing guys out … it’s going to be Paramount…

A perfect example is the Boeser goal … 78 Has to break his stick over his back and run him into the boards… Not go around the outside of him for a worthless, sorry little stick lift..

Campbell allowed 5 goals on 28 shots. Maybe if the Leafs improved their defense and only allowed 15 shots per game we could get the goals against under 3

If only the Leafs still had Andersen...

Safe to assume you forgot how poorly Andersen played last season?

Two quick points:

1. Dude was not nearly fat enough.

2. Why the frank wouldn't Parros tell the crew that the goalie's pads were on backwards? This pissed me off so much I couldn't watch to the end of the video.

for me, it was pretty simple.. Demko came up big when needed, and Campbell didn't.. The Leafs put in a great effort but were outgoalied...
- PatC80

Seems to occur often since Jan 1st.

it's weird how every goalie we get sucks in Toronto, and then performs better after getting the hell out of Dodge.

But it's got to be the goalies, right?

How much of that was the Leafs defense? Seems to be the common denominator everytime a leafs fan blames goaltending.

Media probably doesn't help either.

I'm not say go out and get Chiarot. I'm saying crosscheck players like Chiarot does in front of his net.

I honestly don't know what people see in Chiarot. He's not bad at taking shots that generate rebounds - which would be useful if we had guys that went to the net hard, but we don't have a lot of that going on. He is historically the antithesis of what we need - he doesn't drive the play, he is among the league's worst in high danger chances against, shots against, goals against, and expected goals against. He's in the top-20 in giveaways per 60, but that's also bad.

He actually hits less than Sandin does.

Is the thinking that because he cross-checked the crap out of Matthews in the playoffs he's a good addition? If he plays for the Leafs he'll just get penalized for it. We don't have anyone else that does that, so when it happens it sticks out like a sore thumb. I think he got away with it because they weren't going to penalize Weber for it, so there couldn't be a double-standard!

Yuuup. Raycroft, Bernier, Reimer, Scrivens, Gustavsson, Sparks, Toskala... They all just leave and go to the HOF basically.
