If rebound control is Going to continue to be an issue and it looks like it may be for a while… Clearing guys out … it’s going to be Paramount…
A perfect example is the Boeser goal … 78 Has to break his stick over his back and run him into the boards… Not go around the outside of him for a worthless, sorry little stick lift..

so what you are saying is the Leafs D needs to Chiarot it a lot more.
Campbell allowed 5 goals on 28 shots. Maybe if the Leafs improved their defense and only allowed 15 shots per game we could get the goals against under 3 - winsix

You’ve never seen the time a sumo wrestler went in net and they had George Parros taking shots at him and scoring at will? - TurdFergeson
Two quick points:
1. Dude was not nearly fat enough.
2. Why the frank wouldn't Parros tell the crew that the goalie's pads were on backwards? This pissed me off so much I couldn't watch to the end of the video.

I honestly don't know what people see in Chiarot. He's not bad at taking shots that generate rebounds - which would be useful if we had guys that went to the net hard, but we don't have a lot of that going on. He is historically the antithesis of what we need - he doesn't drive the play, he is among the league's worst in high danger chances against, shots against, goals against, and expected goals against. He's in the top-20 in giveaways per 60, but that's also bad.
He actually hits less than Sandin does.
Is the thinking that because he cross-checked the crap out of Matthews in the playoffs he's a good addition? If he plays for the Leafs he'll just get penalized for it. We don't have anyone else that does that, so when it happens it sticks out like a sore thumb. I think he got away with it because they weren't going to penalize Weber for it, so there couldn't be a double-standard!
