Jarry save and Carter pass were both awesome. |

Yeah.... I still would drop Rusty to Geno's line and give Erod a bump to the 1st line. Lengthen the lineup.
Wow... What a save by Jarry! - madmike71
At this point I don't care what we try as long as we stop with the 2 periods of Kap just not working again. Give Geno Rust, Carter, ERod, anything lol |

WTF is going on in Arizona? 16 Goals scored in just over 5 periods...Schmaltz with 11 points and a +10...and it looks like Phil got hurt. |

Phil left after one shift to keep his game streak going. His wife is giving birth so the Yotes let him play a shift and chartered him a flight home |

I get that the streak is really important to him but that’s pretty fraudulent. |

Hahaha it is... but on the other hand I kind of associate iron man with strong or not getting injured... He's not hurt or sick at all... |

It's kind of funny because Sully has always touted he likes constructing his line with "pairs". Essentially having two of the better players elevate the third. It's a smart strategy. Spreads the wealth around. I realize he doesn't want to break up Sids line, but he's got to do something. |

Problem is that Sully sees Kap as Geno's pair when it damn well should be Heinen.
And he can fix it without touching Sid's line. Move Carter up for Kap and let Erod center the 3rd line or move Blue up to the 3rd line and Kap to the 4th and dress Boyle over Simon or preferably ZAR(wishful thinking lol). Or simply swap Kap with Erod or McGinn. There's definitely options to try.

I only caught the end of the 2nd and the 3rd, but I don’t know how this team is expected to win under the speed and skill philosophy. Every team infront of the them faster and has more skill and has more snarl/ playoff type players. The Pens are simply keeping up in these close losses. I’m starting to think Tampa might have just beat themselves last week. |

There are options, but the best move right now is moving Rust down with Geno and moving Rod up. Kap with Carter until he gets traded 😂 |

I agree. They can beat a rangers or caps team. And if every single player got hot at the exact same time could possibly go on a Cinderella run. But barring that they are a 2nd tier team. |

Zucker is Malkin's can't touch winger.
As a coach you can't have steadfast rules like these pairs have to play together and I can't touch them. It only paints you into a corner.
If Sullivan was upset with Kapanen, Simon, and ERod enough to bench them for the third period, is he upset enough to replace two of them with the two guys that sat in the press box last. The answer of course is no. Is he upset enough to switch things up? I'm not holding my breath.

This teams motto seams to be so nothing and see if it sorts itself out. Worked with Jarry, is getting better with cds. Not going with with sully and the rest of the team. |

I prefer a GM who is patient over one with an itchy trigger finger. Not so much with a coach.
A coach only has so much to work with and if things aren't working he needs to create competition. I don't know if it's true or not but guys seem to think oh well if I play bad tonight I'll still be with my partner next game.
I fully expect Kap, Simon, and ERod to come out flying next game. Which is good but what message does that send to ZAR, Blueger, and McGinn?
