The people calling for trading him are mostly doing it because he doesn't fall into their stereotypes. I mean, I picked Ovechkin to be our captain...problem is, he's not a Canuck. You have to pick the best choice on your team and that's who the players wanted. Miller hadn't played a game yet and always has this aroma of moving on around him.

If they went with the criteria that Nucker keeps going on about, it would have been Ferland.... problem is he was so soft that he couldn't handle getting his jersey wrinkled without being out on concussion protocol. But he would drop the gloves if someone screwed with any other players... The top quality in any leader if I'm to listen to people who never really spent any time around Alpha's but refer to it all the time.

I am trying to stay away from trade speculation . I can see Motte and maybe Brock being moved but if it happens it happens. It could be a very quiet TDL and maybe they pick up a player instead of losing one.
