Well his skating needs a bit more work. What he will sign for decides it for me.
- Nighthawk

Ya the skating i think is the big one, hard to say there. Seems to find a way though. My big thing is if they want a speed identity(JR and BB mentioned this a bit) boeser seems the guy

Hughes is a one-dimensional puck moving defenseman that needs a D partner to cover for his mistakes.

Makar is a Norris Trophy all-around defenseman that makes his partner better.

I think the best player to trade is Horvat, make miller the capt and if he won't resign trade him at the next dead line, keep shenn resign motte

We are very thin at center. It is not the time to move your two center.

See I just don't buy that. When you run a guy 25-30 mins a game there will be lapses yes, but he's much better defensively that a lot of fans give him credit for.

I give him credit when I think he has had a real good game, it just usually is when he has an very good defensive one, which is about every 15 games or so.
- Reubenkincade

You don’t appreciate enough of what he does. The PP is far better with him the QB. Skating pucks out or stretch passes.

He’s here for a long time so patience will be required. He’s a smart guy. He’s never going to be a bruiser. But under the right coach he might just become the player you want him to become.

Boeser and Pearson have been good tonight same as the Lamikko line.

Just has to put in one good offseason with a skating specialist. Throw the odd hit. Then I’d be satisfied.

He’s not a liability. He might not bang or be physical but he gets it’s done good enough with smarts.

As Darius said, a PP specialist.

I am not going to go on all night about a player I don't like so can we move on and discuss how Highmore is the most underrated player on the team.

People are going to be severely disappointed. IMO only Miller and possibly Boeser are biggish names that may get traded. The young guys are here long term.

I have a hard time calling someone who makes 7 million this season, as a player who would be considered underrated.

His cap hit is 5.875 million, the only really important number, but he’s often a big part of the reason the team wins games. Especially since Boudreau took over.

You may as well accept it now, a big mess left by Benning to clean up. Poor depth and no prospects.
