I don’t think he re-signs in Vancouver once his contract is up and the team is not going to even make the playoffs this year which gives them one year with him to win a cup, and we all know the team is not winning the cup anytime soon so you might as well trade him for a boatload.

So all know most teams are not winning a cup anytime soon. Teams go through phases on their way to contending. Even then 31 teams come last.

He's a machine. See the stats on on wins losses when he gets a point/s. 1-14 and something if he's not on the score sheet.

No, they will be re-signing him in the summer 5 years at around 8 million. There are others that will be moved.

I think the fourth line has been a serious bright spot durimg this stretch, but agree the D has zero depth amd so its a fine line. Checked the standings, pretty hard to dislike the spot were in given where we were. Tough matchups ahead though.

Yeah I agree, it would deflate the teams players badly. I really think he’ll be moved this summer.

It’s certainly been a fun turnaround but I don’t think they’d beat anyone in the playoffs with that bottom six or defence, it’s one of the worst in the league.

I’m looking forward to some changes from the new management team.

I think the Lamikko line, or 4th line, is in top 1/3 of the league.
