I don't even think they have this discussion until the summer.

So far Miller has been non committal when asked about re-signing for what it's worth...

- boonerbuck

Non-committal cuz focus is on this season is the reason?

C’mon booner you’re better than this … Miller can’t stand the media he is not going to tip his hand to them. Your continual reference to Millers “non commital” is getting old …

Couldn’t use any senses. Light & noise was bad & could only try to go to sleep & wake up fine. Was painful & difficult to nod off.

That’s what I’m saying. They’ll make a/some changes, but it will depend on what they think will happen with Miller. If his agent is saying he wants to sign long term, then they’ll opt to move someone like Boeser, or Horvat or Garland etc.

Trade Miller for a haul, trade Boeser for a haul, trade Motte then resign him in the summer, sign Malkin short term in the summer... baby, you got yourself a stew.

Perhaps. That supports the first sentence in the post you quoted.

Sign Letang, Malkin, Rust and wait for Crosby to demand a trade here.

He was non committal. Fact. Do I say that means he won't resign? No. I don't care if it's old, it's part of the discussion. Everyone is speculating. Why single out someone who brings in Miller's interview to the discussion?

Before you quoted me, I mentioned it twice.

Yeah, and I don’t think they will be in a hurry to do anything before the trade deadline, doesn’t make much sense. Motte if they can’t get a deal maybe, but what’s he worth, a 3rd maybe.

Thanks Carol!

Russ Was hoping they'd fire Pete over trading him, don't love the idea of that old (frank) rebuilding a modern NFL team

That's a pretty substantial haul. Noah Fant is an excellent young player, Harris is a solid rotational piece and then 2 1sts, 2 2nds. Drew lock has a strong arm but lacks touch.

Agreed.

Trade Pearson. Trade for Kappanen. Trade 1st rounders.

History repeats itself. This is the only way people know how to operate.

Oh I think it's a huge haul, just tough to have the 10 year face of the franchise Super Bowl winning QB gone.

Plus, I don't trust Pete with draft picks. I wonder how choked DK and Locket are now though

I don't think Russ will age well. Pete might be old but he's one hell of a football guy.
