I told all of you he does months ago when I explained the locker room dynamic

You were right. I choose team alpha over beta Bo

I bet Garland is one of JT’s boys

I don't think Russ will age well. Pete might be old but he's one hell of a football guy.
- golfingsince

I think Russ will have another great 3 seasons. He's already slowing down, but Seattle just couldn't protect him in any real way, maybe we'll see him behind a competent O line in Denver.

The game has just changed on Pete. He even admitted being too slow to change this past offseason. He's playing catch up now. Not the person you want in charge anymore.

Carol Schram: Analyzing the trade probabilities for the Canucks' top 9 potential targets
We're less than two weeks out from the 2022 NHL trade deadline, and bettors in B.C. now have the chance to wager on whether or not nine Vancouver Canucks players will be moved by March 21.

- Carol Schram

Great summary of these particular players, I love reading your takes of different players and your interpretation of their individual talents. Sooo different from many posters here.

I for one will not be making any wagers, but it will be quite interesting to see what the new regime does and says at TDL. What is this groups (management) direction and identity.

He was non committal. Fact. Do I say that means he won't resign? No. I don't care if it's old, it's part of the discussion. Everyone is speculating. Why single out someone who brings in Miller's interview to the discussion?

Before you quoted me, I mentioned it twice.

- boonerbuck

My take is…

He cannot resign yet.
Doesn’t want to be distracted.

Media just being idiots.
Media justifying their jobs.

End of the day JR/PA know all of this & no contract talks will go through the media let alone it’s premature.

Yeah, and I don’t think they will be in a hurry to do anything before the trade deadline, doesn’t make much sense. Motte if they can’t get a deal maybe, but what’s he worth, a 3rd maybe.
- 1970vintage

A 3rd is a safe bet maybe a 2nd to the right team.

Priority is extend Miller then the picture is more clear. He’s just too damn good & important.
- Nighthawk

You can’t extend Miller yet. So why would that be a hold up. Trade BB if you don’t think he’s worth his QO. Maybe BH. Other than that stand firm until
Summer.

The team was also playing like poop when he was non committal. It makes no sense to trade him now. If summer comes and he says he doesn’t want to extend then you have a few months to work with a whole lot more teams to get the best value.

Forget bubble Demko (we got him back), we need bubble Bo!

That guy was on fire in the bubble. I haven't seen him rush the puck or challenge D-men that way before or after the bubble. He's really a shell of that player right now.

Agreed.
I think a couple of players will be moved, probably one biggish deal and one lesser so. I have no idea who but it is fun to throw a few names out there to see who is triggered.

I agree.

It is very vancouverish to over read into everything to the point where there are newspaper covers and article covers about a guy not wanting to be here. Almost like a girlfriend we are scared will leave us cause she's too good for us ... so we reverse it on them. We usually do this with our best players ... or the ones playing the best at the time to boot. Complex fanbase haha.

He got a great haul for Wilson here though, Font and Harris are both quality and four picks. Im impressed, been a while since Carroll has done much right
