Brink is basically Diet Caufield.

With the exception of DeBrincat , he is much smaller than most of those guys. Unlike DeBrincat, he is not considered particularly fast. Hope he ends up like him but very small players who are not particularly quick can have problems in the NHL. - iamscore2day
Brink is quick enough tho, just doesn't have great straight-line speed. And he always goes to the net, which is usually a pretty good sign. |

I could totally see Chuck giving somebody like Ben Chiarot a retirement contract in the name of improving goals against lol.
(After Risto tells him to (frank) himself and walks) - Tomahawk
If he makes it to free agency, I see Johnny Gaudreau as their main target.

Washington might be the only other big four pro franchise that’s a bigger embarrassment than the Flyers. It is incredible how they shoot themselves in the foot over and over and over. - hereticpride

The Flyers are too short on defense in my opinion to trade Provorov for a forward. Flyers historically have been able to draft and develop forwards. Always had issues with building a defense. I truly believe that Provorov is shell shocked from too many minutes with too big of a burden and not enough help. - MJL

well that was quick - 2Real
As stated prior, I live in that area, and people…aren’t thrilled. They feel it’s McNabb 2.0, which is kind of unfair. McNabb had more years under him at that point. Although, Wentz has some miles on him considering his injury history. He’s not the mobile, yet accurate, QB he was in his prime. They need him to be a pocket presence. Great. Best of luck with that.
I think Wentz will be serviceable. Terry McLaurin is probably the best WR he’s ever had. That being said, the running game isn’t there like it was in Indy.
Washington’s defense should improve. They have great talent, but it didn’t click last season. Maybe it’s coaching, maybe it’s leadership, I don’t know. Regardless, the Commanders (lol. K.) will be better this year. By how much, I’m not sure. 9 win team? I could see that.
I’ll be curious to see his introduction when he comes back to Philly next season. It won’t be a Simmons level “welcome home” we’re expecting tomorrow, but it’ll be vocal all the same
And yes, everyone around here still calls them the Redskins. Hell, I know people who still refer to the Wizards as the Bullets. They won’t let it go.
I think the Redskins, or just Skins, moniker isn’t leaving this city for a long time. |

Oh, I dunno about that. His TD/INT ratio isn’t bad. Now, he may be *fumbling* to Philly quite a bit, which would be just peachy as far as I’m concerned.
Yknow. If we actually get a pass rush. |

but the original idiot poster ripped the flyers for not taking Caufield, then in his next post, poops on Brimk for his size - THE BLACK HAND LMFAO!!! So I'm the idiot poster? Perhaps you should look in the mirror when using that word. You do realize that there's a world of difference in the talent levels of Caufield and Brink? There's not one scout that would even compare the two in talent level. Why don't you go back to following the Sucksers! Perhaps you actually know something about that sport. |

Honest to god, the few and far between basketball fans here still refer to them as the Bullets, and want nothing to do with that Wizards “Harry Potter bullish—“
That’s why the Redskins are are from dead.
Retro basketball jerseys here are the norm. Football will be the same way. |

Everyone thought the Stars would be sellers. But now they may be buyers. Hearing rumors they be interested in Rasmus Ristolainen. |

Wow, this thread sure has deteriorated. Now back to the hockey talk! The Flyers next crash and burn will be Johnny Hockey. He's having a career year to line himself for that huge payday. The Flyers will step up and give him what he wants, and then he'll become JVR light. You heard it here first. |

That is a hot and original take.
Unless they severely overpay JG will not be a flyer next season.
