Ok, good points. But once Simmer was traded and there really was not any one to pick up the mantle, IMO it was G to change his style and pick that piece up, and I just don't think its in him to do that. Look I love G, I just think it was a mistake to make his captain, he would so much better as just a really good player and good guy in the room.

I agree with you. Claude is one of the best all time Flyers. He is miscast as a captain on a cup contender.

Let me tell you what I saw. I saw a Florida team let off the gas and coast because they know they are the far superior team who had a 4-0 lead. That happens in sports. If Florida comes out in the 3rd and ramps it up again, what is likely to happen?
