RR does not make this team better. Rather have overpaid for a quality Dman than give him 5 per. He doesnt move the needle at all.

watch this flyers team from afar. Way way afar. They will never get it.

How can you not see that it is all Claude's fault that the Flyers skate so many AHL players every night? How can you not see that he is responsible for a terrible training staff that repeatedly puts players back on the ice who get reinjured immediately? How can you not blame him for trading for an injury prone d-man?
Once we move Claude, all of the pieces should fall together. I am sure that all of the players will listen to Yandle tell them how to play well and for the team. I mean, that guy is all about giving it up for the team. That is why he almost never ices the puck and will take the big hit to make the right play in a break out.

4) you don’t ever pay a 5/6 dman who’s only attribute is some physical play 5mil

I guess the good news of the Risto signing is that it is not 6.25 x 6 but rather 5.1 x 5, a slight savings on the current cap hit 5.4. It still doesn’t explain the fit issue at the top pairing RHD. Even if best case scenario, Ellis returns. He was always likely to miss at least some games. What other team throws their 5 or 7 depth defenseman on the top pairing as the first choice replacement? This has happened multiple seasons. I can’t wait to see who Provy is paired with if Braun is traded. Maybe they do plan to trade Sanheim, IDK.

Next year if the team plays well no one will be ripping RR. Low hanging fruit guys on here. RR is a good NHL defenseman who brings a BADLY needed element to this team. He easily gets 5x5 on open market most likely would of got more so this is a good signing. CC needs to go to reset culture & they could be on the upswing
