I know we Flyers fans love our hot takes, but this is really not a terrible signing. He has played better as of late. All the talk of his +/- it's really not that terrible considering this team. G is -12, JVR is abysmal and lets not talk about Yandle, who god knows why he s still int he lineup, besides he is a good guy the other player respect. If he plays better, win for us, if not then his price tag is not prohibitve for another team who things the can fix his game.

Strikes me as retarded that you would consider Pittsburgh and Philly similar teams. One is on the downside of a dynasty yet still a competitive team. The other has been relegated to irrelevance for decades and has no immediate nor near future possibility of being competitive. Philthy is looking great tonight BTW.
