Honestly, and no offense intended, I have no idea how anyone can watch Myers play hockey and think “yeah man, there’s a guy who gets it.” He’s just terrible. I bet Schenn/OEL would be as good or better against the same competition. - 1970vintage
He's big and he positions himself well to use his size. He also has made some great plays with his reach. His skating looks ridiculous... Perhaps your letting it distract you from his effectiveness.

I don’t watch him religiously, but vs Montreal he was falling all over the place, and he can’t connect a pass to save his life. He’s constantly out of position. I think he’s a moderately effective 3rd pairing offensive defenseman that is totally miscast in Vancouver.
If Boeser signs 5 x 5.5 do we want him? And yes he can sign a deal like that for people saying no he needs 7.5 mill per. As much of an anti boeser guy that seems fair for a complimentary player with big goal upside. I don't think I'd do 6 mill.
If Tampa is willing to part with a 1st or even a 2nd for Motte do you do it, even knowing it will hurt your chances of making the playoffs? - 1970vintage
I am not a big Motte fan to start with . I know what he brings . I have read he wants 2-2.5 mil for three years so I would gladly trade him.
I think I would like a prospect instead of pick because I have yet to see a year of drafting from a new crew. I know some take it as an insult when I say that but until they do something it is all guesswork .
I see a lot of happy people today on Twitter about the new signing of an over ager ,undrafted player. Good numbers , I have seen the highlight package . Need to see how he does.

I actually love these things. Drives the likeability meter way up for me, I should watch them more often. They're such robots in media (and I don't blame them for that) but these are a reminder that they're just like me and the fellas at beer league on the ice. Joking around and self deprecating quips.
I thought millsy was gonna steal the spotlight there in the middle and add to the 'drama', but then they focused back more on Bo haha.

A 1st you gotta take it. The late 2nd & a PO push nope.

I'll Garland at 4.9 vs boes at 6 - Jkuzzi
Yes.
He's a goal scorer, you need those. He's entering his peak years.
