I actually love these things. Drives the likeability meter way up for me, I should watch them more often. I am not a big Motte fan to start with . I know what he brings . I have read he wants 2-2.5 mil for three years so I would gladly trade him.

I think I would like a prospect instead of pick because I have yet to see a year of drafting from a new crew. I know some take it as an insult when I say that but until they do something it is all guesswork .

I see a lot of happy people today on Twitter about the new signing of an over ager ,undrafted player. Good numbers , I have seen the highlight package . Need to see how he does.

I like Motte quite a lot. I think another of him instead of Chaisson would be a big upgrade. But anything over $1.5m is too much and should be filled with an entry level contract.

Trading him is a tough call. You don't want to lose him for a playoff run, but a 2nd would be tempting.

Well that's not what I said whatsoever. I didn't put any ifs in there, I answered to them. I'd also give him his $6M a year that he currently makes, after that it gets more complicated.

Like I said, he's entering his peak years. He should be a 30G guy consistently at a minimum. You don't just walk away from that regardless of his warts.
