I can tell you that some players may take less than FA market money to remain. Vancouver is still a great city and the team is up and coming. If you start selling before the deadline it's going to be more costly unless you kill it with high level young entry level players.

I think the idea is to add to the depth that’s already there not shuffle the deck chairs. Trading Hughes for that would be a mistake. Find him a good partner and let him grow.
