I’ve actually got a small bag of shrooms from a long while ago. Do they lose their potency over time? Maybe I’ll eat them tonight…

I’m warming to the idea of signing him to an 8 year extension this summer. His last three seasons will, in all likelihood, be another GM’s problem. If they can keep the cap hit at around $7 that would be a good deal. I think they’ll look to get Boes done around his current number as well, $6ish. A Lui Eriksson would be ideal. Need a decent backup goalie and another Vet in the AHL and then carving out some $ to upgrade the D.

Buyouts are dumb, so they’re going to need to try and move Myers or OEL, not sure that’s possible without incurring longer term costs?

I think Myers is the *more* moveable player. He only has two more years (lol) at 6 mil... but his played has picked up under Bouds, so maybe some GM will take him on at the TDL/next TDL, or even better if the Canucks win some playoff games and he plays not terribly his value goes up at the Draft.

Still 22 or so games to go, that’s 1/4 of the season, a long ways to go, but yes, trying to catch Vegas and land a top three spot is much more preferable or they’ll be out quickly against the Avs.

I think the Canucks need to upgrade at the 3rd pairing left defense and could use a bigger forward who can hit and is a willing combatant.
IMO, a player like Lawson Crouse would be a nice fit.
Not sure what he would cost, but Hoglander is who I would be willing to sacrifice.
