Problem we’ve had is no contingent plan for when D aged out. Drafting or UFA we either didn’t pick them or manage cap to get them.

Whatever apprehensions people had about signing Myers, he's bringing it this year. If he can keep playing like he has been, he's a top 4 Dman that the team needs.

Honestly, and no offense intended, I have no idea how anyone can watch Myers play hockey and think “yeah man, there’s a guy who gets it.” He’s just terrible. I bet Schenn/OEL would be as good or better against the same competition.

Avs lost Timmins with concussion issues and now possibly Byram and still chugging along, need to be a deep team and be able to handle prospects not working out

I don’t think they’re anything alike, Linden was very opinionated in his ideals, unlike Horvat who’s too quiet, he was also better offensively than Horvat. Bo’s a good player and person, he’s just not a natural leader.

He was the best the Canucks had when Horvat was selected. Miller hadn't even played a game yet and had a less than favorable rep when he showed up. So here we are... no one would care about what he lacks as a leader if a C wasn't sewn on his jersey.
