In regards to trading a significant piece like Miller or Boeser or whoever (for the record I don't think it happens unless Arizona offers Chychrun and a 1st or some other deal like that for Miller):

If the locker room has a problem with management doing what they need to do, to make the team better long term even if it involves short term pain, they all should be released or traded. Their job is to play, whether they make the playoffs or don't, and get paid very well to do so. I'm sure if they're so upset that JR/PA think the team isn't going anywhere with Miller or whoever they trade even if they make the playoffs, they can get their agents to let them know they too want to be traded.

It was an hypothetical example, that IF the Canucks DID trade Miller, a deal like Chychrun and 1st or something like that would have to be coming back. Not that it'll happen as you're right, they dumped OEL on us, why do they want someone that'll be wanting 8-9 mil for 4+ years next summer.
