The fact we’re sitting where we’re sitting with Hunt Gauthier McKegg as regulars and Barron/Gettinger/Brodzinski mixing in is pretty crazy. We need 2 forwards MINIMUM if we’re going anywhere in the playoffs. I hope we grab Paquette off waivers. In the meantime

Paquette is a no brainer move. He used to play with Goodrow in TB and that can put a bandaid on the loss of Rooney on the 4th line.

The Rangers then need to decide whether or not they want to make the big splash (Hertl, Kane) or they want to make 3-4 small/medium moves (Copp, Crouse, Rakell, Stastny, Jarnkrok) or some sort of combination of the 2.

The way this team is currently they should only trade for cheap rentals. Any big assets should require youth with term coming back

Rakell and Jarnkrok would be a homerun imo if they just did rental route

Chychrun left the game early tonite with what is being called a "minor" injury. He is considered day 2 day.

Josh Norris of the Senators left the game early tonite, don't know if he aggravated his recent shoulder injury or if he is getting traded.

Theres a lot of options and theres really no right or wrong, however, I believe it starts with a full gut of the 3rd line. We cant keep playing 11D/7F.
