Could be. Other orgs see the Risto signing and realize the Flyers are wounded antelope. Easy prey for the sharp organizations to start poaching good players.

Just in the past two days we’ve seen rumors regarding Sanheim and Provorov. Not saying they have merit, but you can bet your ass good GM’s are licking their chops right now.

I remember when TK looked like he was having a blast playing. Not so much anymore. Maybe Provy feels the same way and I’m sure probably a few more. The writing is on the wall with this franchise. Don’t want to assume how the players view the franchise but if I was a younger player and I had UFA coming up , I think I would be looking for a situation where I would be used properly. A team that would get the best out of me. The guy I feel the worst for is Hart, I believe he’s easily a top 10 goalie. He’s under siege almost every game and how much longer can he take before he’s ruined. Just my 2 cents.

Now the question is what does the locker room do with that anger? If the players who are driven to win take over the locker room and the “ oh well we’ll get them next game it’s a long season” players get mad, now you got something to build on.
This team definitely needs more talent but they also need an attitude change too. Talent and attitude will be needed to turn this team around.

I’m kinda thinking this as well. Why the (frank) should he be happy? There is no one, other then maybe a few tweeners that should be happy with the way this year has gone. There’s probably a few vets that wouldn’t be heart broken with a change of scenery. As far as the attitude, I think they accept losing to easily some nights.

If you read the actual quote they’re hoping to have him back for the stretch run and it’s something he’s been dealing with for a while. Doesn’t sound too serious.

I don't agree with it and I would not, but due to contract and depth on the left side.

I would not be surprised if no Dman are traded off this roster, in fact I could see the Flyers adding Connor Murphy as their 3rd RHS dman to play with York next year. Then the defense would be:

Provey - Ellis
Sanheim - Risto
York - Murphy

During the days of Alshon leaking stuff about Wentz via Josina Anderson (namely that Wentz was a locker room prima donna and not a real leader), it was also surmised that Alshon was doing it because he was not being targeted like he was with Foles. Turns out now, Alshon might have had a point.

Lets see how this plays out. Maybe you are right, maybe not.
