Or is he ? - landros 2
I think it depends on Giroux. If G is will to sign an extension with the team that wants him the most, the return can be very good. However if teams feel G will just go back to the Flyers in the off season, they will not give up too much. |

Landed log out indefinelty. Pavelski resigned. The pieces are falling in place for a significant haul. Fletcher’s in for a feast. - Just5
I haven’t seen this confirmed anywhere else though.
Nevermind, saw this on Friedman’s Twitter now. |

do you ever blame a player other than RR. ? When any other player isnt playing well, you blame Yeo, or Chuck. When its RR you blame the player. You talk like frost has earned to be the #1C on this team, and he hasnt shown anything. OR maybe its just hextall guys that you dont blame, its everyone elses fault. - bradster
You are soo right, its completely comical! |

The message more recently has been "Keep doing the little things right and add the offense back into it." - bmeltzer
Sounds like exactly the right message to a young player trying to find his game. |

I would not be surprised if no Dman are traded off this roster, in fact I could see the Flyers adding Connor Murphy as their 3rd RHS dman to play with York next year. Then the defense would be:
Provey - Ellis
Sanheim - Risto
York - Murphy
Not bad! Murphy should be affordable coming off this current deal. - jd250
Risto at the 4 🤮 |

Connor Murphy is already re-signed through 25-26

This sounds like the right message. I hope he finishes the season on a strong note and goes into the off season and next year with the right mind frame. I think eventually will grow into a #1 defenseman that can help a team win. |

Never realized until today that Rasmus Ristolainen translates in Finnish to High Danger Scoring Chance Machine. |

Yeah, ABC keeps using it. It’s fine for replays but useless for live action |

Either a drone or one of those cable cams they use for NFL |

I like when they use it on the PP and the view is like sitting behind the opposite goal |

Not sure if this has been discussed here already (apologies if so), but the Landeskog injury does seem to open up a space for Giroux at LW there. Indeed, if they put Landeskog on IR, they fit Giroux in easily. Then the former can pull a Kucherov and return for the playoffs. |

From the their coaches comments it sounds like they think Landeskog will be back for “the stretch run” so I don’t think he’s going to be out too long. And it’s also something Landeskog has been dealing with for a while so it’s something they’ve likely planned out. |

Did ABC even say what this penalty was for? God their coverage is brutal. The playoffs are going to be rough. |

Is the stretch run the playoffs though? Lets see how Nicuschin does there. I don't think he has played in as talented a line since his days with Benn and Seguin, has he? |

I assume the stretch run of the end of the season. They would’ve had Landeskog get this sooner if it interfered with his availability for the playoffs imo. |

They already have the roster space and the cap space to add Giroux. They don't have to do anything.
