The non icing call was correct. D didn’t beat Garland to the puck. - Nighthawk
Sorry, accidentally flagged this.
But, you don’t have to get to the puck first, you only have to win the race back to the face off dot. The linesman can rule that Garland would be the first one to the puck and call it off, but he couldn’t have known it for sure it was too close. I can’t believe you’re sticking up for an official, sheesh.
Watching the replay of the early whistle cost us a goal. How come not reviewable? Do they want to get it right cuz the whistle had no effect on the play. - Nighthawk
If you’re upset about the rule as take it up with the General Managers. It’s unbelievable how many of you manly hockey fans have no idea about the rules of the game. Even if you just paid attention to the broadcast you would learn the answers to your stupid questions.
Slept through the second and third period . Old man syndrome . - VANTEL
It was actually a pretty good game. I missed the first, so can’t really comment on what John and John were talking about “the first 8 min” but they played hard the last 40. It’s possible Tampa is just a better club right now.

I think their tinfoil hats interfere with the TV signals. Plus, when you're loudly beating off your SLURPERS™ drum, it's hard to hear anything outside of your own battologist thoughts.

Maybe. I would also add that Vasilevskiy was amazing last night, so there’s the Demko effect, but for Tampa. I think if that was Elliott in net the Canucks would have scored 4.
COL coach Jared Bednar announces Gabriel Landeskog needs knee surgery, but they hope to have him back for stretch run. And, Sam Girard out four weeks

Taken in a one game snapshot, the refs can seem "out to get your team". NHL reffing is consistently inconsistent. But, taken as a whole, across the season, across all teams, across the league... it all washes out.
Vasi is the best goalie in the NHL. Just look at this psycho
I'd say Stars and Canucks have the most opportunity to set themselves up for a playoff push prior to the deadline. Ducks are dead in the water, I think they're sellers. I also think Vegas is toast and LA solidifies the second place in the division.
The challenge for the Canucks is that right after the deadline they go out on the road for @Colorado, @Minnesota, @Dallas, @St.Louis and then home to St. Louis.

It's my understanding the the challenge for the Canucks is the corrupt officiating.

That's a good point, but if you look at the rate at which gas prices are increasing, it's pretty clear that China and the US are collaborating to squeeze Mexico out of the NAFTA.

mhhhm, I'm listening, but have you considered who would win a fight between Neptune and Aquaman? I mean, they're cut from the same cloth obviously, but neither has ever seen a 1971 Corvette try to race a Tesla roadster. There's a lot of merit in keeping a cup of baking soda in your sock drawer, if you want to get ahead in business that is.
