Otherwise, every time a player got a stick in the face they’d have to go off. But yeah, it’s a conspiracy against the Canucks, no other team has to play with poor officiating.

I think Myers is an idiot, and he should just learn how to hit a guy low instead of jumping up into the boards. He should train with Garland on staying low.

Myers didn't jump into that hit last night. I know what you mean though, he hits upwards sometime even when he doesn't leave his feet but it's safer to hit a guy that way if the head doesn't get hit. The boards/glass have more give up higher.

Bruce also said knowing kuznetsov some embelleshing came into play. Myers size is what caused finishing his check into a minor head shot with his shoulder.

I doubt it could happen, he has a bit of a knack for untimely penalties. To his credit, pretty much only him OEL and Schenn are the only guys that actually hit and play physical

It's true...definitely. Was a hard adjustment for me over 17 years ago when I started hanging out on HB. I was the kind of person that didn't get mouthed off in person for most of my life over opinions and then I come here and people are lining up to call me all kinds of personal insults because I was of the opinion that Nonis sucked as a GM. When Nonis got fired, the insults became way more hostile. Mark Gage even though he was a big Nonis fan eventually defended my position and called for calm in one of his blogs.

Not long before that period in my life, there would have been a pile of KO'd people laying around me for the poop people were saying if it were to my face.

Schenn can crush people all night on the boards but they seem to throw a lot of unfair penalties at Myers for hits. His height plays games with the eyes of the refs no doubt... but they can pull a call back if they want these days... and they refuse when it comes to him.

When we went to the movies last week and there was three youths in their twenties playing soccer in the lobby . I called them fucken idiots to their face .

Told a server that their service was pure garbage also last week .

I had a fun week .

People think retired people are angry when in fact we are just not having to censor ourselves anymore

I find him a bit careless with his arms, but maybe there is sometging to it. Chara certainly does similar stuff and also takes a lot of penelties. Kinda comes with being that much bigger i guess.
