You never take any team lightly. Arizona has beat Avs a couple of times already this year. So yes, Flames have to play Flames-style hockey no matter who the opponent is. Go Flames!

I feel bad for Mony, because he was our top center for all those years but he just isn't the same player without an elite playmaker on his line.

20+ games to go and one shutout off kippers mark to me that stat is just insane!

A nice strong win by the flames, listening to the second period breakdown the flames were supposed to be up 5 or 6 which really speaks to the wings goalie good on him.

As for Monahan as I am a fan the truth he has probably had too much injury and too much surgery to really know what has gone wrong and thats too bad. He still contributes and comes to the games and does his best which is certainly better than some others in general terms.

Still 25% of the season to go, Markstrom should set a new team record. It’s been a long time since the Flames have had this kind of consistency.
I think we’ll see him play today as well, Vladar needs some starts but I think Sutter will go with Markstrom. Our next game is Wednesday so plenty of time to rest.

Brutal schedule this past week, 6 games in 8 days. Flames are still 4-0-1 in that stretch with a game tonight still to go. I’m sure the team will appreciate a couple nights off, only 3 games next week.

Canucks gonna make the Playoffs? Seems like they are finally performing as hoped and could be a dark horse if they can sneak in.

They have a shot if Vegas and LA continue to sputter...but it's not looking good alot of things have to go their way but they are playing like they want it to be sure. Might just be running out of games. If Boudreau was there at years start they'd be in no-brainer.

Canuck have a better chance of catching Edmonton or Vegas.
