Id have more confidence with Mike Liut in net in high heels than I do with Georgy on skates

I couldnt believe that Georgiev actually fell down as a shot was coming the other day
- jimbro83

He was pulled under by the deep blue of his goal crease.

So Chris Kreider has slowed down some. Looking like he might not make it to 50.

They wont shoot. Notice after they went down to Dallas early they start shooting. After they get the lead they stop shooting and over pass everything. Its (frank)ing maddening

He actually still has 4 goals in 6 March games so still producing. I thought it was less.

I'd swear that Gauthier, Rooney, Reaves, and McKegg have all had more great scoring chances this season that they couldn't convert than the rest of the forwards combined. They work hard but have nothing to show for it and no one to blame but themselves. If some semi-talented replacements had those chances, the Rangers would have nothing to worry about. At least Reaves has a different role and he performs that well enough to keep a starting spot.

I believe people have extremely unrealistic views of what to expect from a 4th line (Rooney, Reaves). Im not expecting these guys to score. These guys are out there to cause turn overs, hit, frustrate the opposition, in many cases play against other teams best players and set up possession for the next line out.

Gauthier I have no explanation for. Just dont get it.

I would imagine he would be held out even if his knee is back to structurally sound. ACL injuries typically take a full year when you include rehab and re-strengthening.

Yeah. I guess we might see him next year if they bring him back.

I want to know why Reaves was scratched the other night.

I just don't think he can process the game at the speed he plays. He doesn't aim at all.

He only has 1 move drive to the net and lose the puck

Its funny cause I think if he became more like Kreider he would have success. I think juniors or whatever he was in before the NHL was easy for him because of his size and speed. Now he is playing against defenders who can stop him and he doesn't know what to do. I think Kreider was a bit like that. These guys always rely on speed and size and have trouble coping at the NHL.

I cant even recall Gauthier taking a shot

has he ever taken a slapshot?

I just remember losing the puck in close

Not that I know of and it explains a lot. Its probably how he scored most of his goals before the NHL. Skated by everyone. Kreider is a bit different cause he has an amazing wrist shot. He just doesn't use it much
