lol but it's true. I understand that Hogs needs to be more defensively responsible but like most good rookies he also needs to be given the tools to succeed. As much as Boudreau has been trying to help him he's also hindered Hog's performance a bit.

Green had terrible teams and was forced to play guys up the lineup, AND Green was a terrible coach.

I still think that the team is having to put guys in roles they aren’t ready for. Hell, we were debating if Klimovich would make the team out of camp…

Just where I think they would/should be playing on a competitive team? Or where their current skill level fits "best" regardless of their contract? At least that's my understanding.

We all know my dislike for Myers, but that's mainly because he's used as a 2/3 against teams top lines, instead of something like a 4/5 against lesser competition, where he would probably excel much more and his skill would fit best.

Or Hamonic being a 6 instead of a 4. Richard being at best a 4C/W instead of the 3C he's been put as. Things like that.

Not that these players are necessarily bad, their just being played outside of their "optimal" role for extended periods... again, just my opinion, clearly everyone has their own. If people wanted to argue Petey Bo and Brock at points this year haven't played up to their roles I would understand that.

As I said, I agree for the most part.

Canucks defence could stand to have someone bump everyone down a spot for sure. Adding someone who can play at the highest level for 25 minutes a game would drastically change the defence. How do you get there or where does it come from is up to the GM.

UFA Klingberg or Lindholm at a fair price preferably 5yrs. Find the cap by ridding the contracts that must go.

He is, which as long as he’s an upgrade on Poolman, I’d be fine with, but more has to come with him if Boeser is going the other way.

I’m leery with Marino RHD after Letang. Just not confident he can evolve into top 2.

Summarizing…Dlcky was deployed by Green in that role. Injured now & won’t be a 3C. As for Myers & Hamonic it gets back to needing a top 2-3 RHD

With all due respect, Myers is a #4 defenseman, a #5 on a good team.
I like Myers, but am also a realist.

Kuzma from what I know isn’t really a guy with inside info so he’s likely just guessing.
