Any trading of Boeser does weaken scoring from wingers. We depend on our C’s to score & carry the team. Garly is next up with Pearson. The kids are still finding their form & cannot be counted on yet. Losing Boesers goals could be offset a bit with a key D UFA like Klingberg while also improving the D bumping down others into a better role. Cap obviously is the mission to find. The assets for Brock would have to be a win no matter what.

Systems are all fine & dandy but 1 player breaks down & it’s kaput. Teams with speed & skill & puck possession can overcome a lot & the deeper they are the better the chances of success. In goal obvious it has to be solid to great.

Transition imo is the best way to find success. Fast crisp puck moving D a must.

That’s the plan bro. 6/8m might do it. Prefer 5yrs but that’s not realistic & we cannot bump the $ high enough to get 5. If he luvs the Van lifestyle & projects us as an up & comer & our swedes it could sway him a bit.
