So North East Surry? - K-man25
Isn't that just Langley? I mean Surrey basically goes from the Port Mann all the way to the US border and through to Chilliwack. Abbotsford and Langley are just the rich South Asian breakaway enclaves of Surrey anyways. |

He'd definitely address a big need, he's a rare player since he's actually an effective player but also a beast physically. - Nucker101
He is what I used to call a #8 forward. Him with Podkolzin and either Bo or Pouty, would be a pretty nice top 3 lines. |

Nichushkin doesn't cost prospects and picks . Only salary.

Yeah, you do need guys like him and Pod to do the dirty work on effective lines. That's how you get the most out of the soft/skill guys like how Tampa does. |

Crouse is a much better player and checks off more boxes, plus he plays on a garbage team and has 17 goals, Nichushkin plays on a powerhouse team and has 14 goals. |

Crouse had 1 more goal before today he also probably plays top line where Nich doesn't .
They are both similar players. Probably does not have to fight as much seeing Avs are a big team that can handle themselves. |

As much as I could like this guy or that it comes down to the type of a C he plays with. The C dictates how a line plays given his skills & smarts. |

Miller is plug n play.
Bo a bull who isn’t a playmaker so maybe big fast bangers puck retrievers who can get the dirty goals.
Petey needs a more traditional set up. A goal scorer & the 3rd wheel. All 3 to have speed & tenacity. |

Picking my 4 best winger play drivers…
Panarin
Kane
Kucherov
Tarasenko
One of those types or draft/develop would be a big get for the top 9. Assuming we are set down the middle with JTM EP & Bo. Luv the 4th line. Klimovich from what I’ve seen is coming along nicely being so very young in the AHL. Could use Karlsson being legit as he looks to be ready sooner. Focus on D picks or elite skill F’s if they fall to us. |

Yeah he wasn't great for sure . I am preparing myself for the new group who had an even worse record.

FA won, the city gave him his casino.
It reminds me of "Field of Dream" - what was it, oh yeah "build it and they'll be forced to give you a licence" |

Even though he spends to the cap no fan of the family of slum lords.
Just glad he’s outta the way now & let the new regime get us cooking. |

You sort of have the right idea. I can see FA sitting in his office with bags of money throwing it in the air and laughing.
As long as he is raking in money he is a happy guy.

He really only makes moves when the fan base is disgruntled. When they start chanting he gets nervous. |

Lawson Crouse with the hatty tonight for the Yotes, even strength, PP and a short handed goal, up to 18 goals on the year…price just went up. He’d for sure be a great third line guy. In the playoffs your third line typically plays a huge role as you go deeper into the playoffs. Fourth line, not so much.
I overheard Bieksa and some of the panel guys mentioning third lines that have helped teams be successful in past playoffs, Chicago, Los Angeles and Pittsburg being mentioned along with the Torres, Hansen and Malhotra line for the Canucks in 2011. |

He is only worth a 5th round pick. |
