This ain't over.. Besides the several blatant gaffes that led to goals they've been the better team IMO. Preds have turned it over a (frank) load of times and Pens haven't capitalized..PP hasn't come through either.. Yet

The Pens have played a very good game, but it just seems like one of those games where bounces aren't going their way.

The passing and puck movement hasn't been great the last few games. Lots of pucks in feet and out of reach passes. Still plenty of time to fine tune and find some chemistry, but tonight has been all about missed chances and not getting completely out played.

this will probably end up a 4 1 loss on the scoreboard but this one really didnt feel like a game they got walked in? other than a few bad shifts (and the clear obvious three stooges type gaffes resulting in walk ins etc) they largely matched pace and had some good looks of their own 5 on 5.

that being said though, if the team is going to struggle to consistently score at 5 on 5 (and barring a sudden infusion of a top 6 finisher type they probably will), the power play really isnt going to be able to have many nights they go 0 for 4 in the playoffs and live to tell about it.

That’s what happens when you got a bunch of bottom 6 players scattered throughout you’re whole lineup.

I don’t hate sully, I just don’t care for him, but I’m happy to see some adjustments for once. Although they probably won’t last after that game. I’m still skeptical of his in game adjustments come playoffs.
