Both get similar EV D results.

Basically Manson can still move the puck at an NHL level.

Which is why I think Chiarot is a poor mans Manson.

Neither are great options for a 2nd pairing.

Manson can move the puck better. and is better defensively.

Manson has not been in the playoffs since 2017, I am sure he will get the cross check hype Chiarot got last year.

Are those stats from this season only? You do realize the Habs, as a team, we're all god damn awful until St-Louis showed up.

I've watched Manson play a few times this year, he's a shell of what I remembered him to be.

The guy can still hit though. He'll do fine on Colorado's third pairing.

Hope this works, not a huge fan of these guys model(he is not this good) but it shows that Manson still has some play driving and puck moving ability. Something Chiarot does not have.

Both are nasty and can play against tough comp and at least be hard to play against. I would much rather have Manson over Chiarot because of this.

I disagree. Chiarot has underrated offensive abilities.

He'll never QB a powerplay but he's fast, does well in his first passes and can actually carry the puck with surprising speed. Something Manson cannot do.

But I guess that's just a difference in opinion.
