I disagree. Chiarot has underrated offensive abilities.

He'll never QB a powerplay but he's fast, does well in his first passes and can actually carry the puck with surprising speed. Something Manson cannot do.

But I guess that's just a difference in opinion.

speed is great, can look nice to the eyes.

But plenty of variables, if it doesn't show up in his carry outs and outlets on the stats than its not enough to overcome everything else for me.

Hoglund is the biggest piece of this deal, #Bluejays 1st rounder last year whose profile only rose once he got into the pros. Smith will get a chance to play in Oakland, the other two are mostly filler. Solid deal.

Steve Simmons doesnt seem to be a fan of the chapman deal.. so thats a good sign

Manson would have the same playoff hype as him if he had seen action the last 5 years.

Honestly not a huge fan of Chapman. He strikes out a lot, and hits poorly for average.
