Jays still need a Lefty bat, badly. Wonder where they go for it. - GreatGigInTheSky
Same store where the Leafs are going to get a hardhitting 2nd pairing defenceman. |

A lot of focus on Ducks pending UFA's Rakell & Lindholm. Another guy I think is intriguing is pending RFA, Isac Lundestrom. Not sure what it would take for ANA to move him but would be a good bottom-6 centre option for a contender. Barclay Goodrow-type elements to his game.
I like lindholm, not sure if he is still as effective as he was a few years ago. |

He's most likely the best rental available on defense.... IF the Ducks do trade him.

Want to hear something crazy?
11 years after retiring, Ken Griffey jr is still the 6th most paid player on the Reds this season.

The Jays also don't have a premium piece to trade like Justin Holl. |

Leafs are 25-14-2 since 2016 without Auston Matthews in the lineup.
"Tradezzz" - Fakepartofme
How was their record in the 2015-2016 season without Mathews in the line up? |

I like Lindholm as well - tough add with the cap and for me adding him would still require another add on D. So far I really like the addition of Lyubushkin ( I call him Laboom) Not fancy, not really a scorer, good for a few hits a game and not afraid to put an opposing forward on his ass if he is in front of the Leaf net. Another d-man with size and attitude would be great. MacDermid, Soucy, Middleton, Mayfield or Braun would work for me.

At least he earned his pay. Bobby Bonilla who hasn't played since 2001 and sucked large for years before he retired, will receive $1.193M a year until 2035 (he'll be 72 years old)

Blue Jays have spoken to Guardians about trade for JosĂ© RamĂrez, with idea of playing RamĂrez at 2B, sources tell @TheAthletic. Other teams showing interest in RamĂrez as well. Still unlikely Guardians will move him. RamĂrez under club control for two more seasons, combined $24M.
lol
can u imagine
also.. glad the Jays are thinking ouside the box...just get WAY better... no time to mess around.. VLAD/Bo cheap |

Matt Chapman: 63

Craziest contract in the history of the MLB?
Can you believe Tatis long ass contract will end and the Mets will still be paying Bonilla?

That list works for me as well. And will save us some work in the summer if we can add from that now. |

I mentioned playing him at 2B a few days back. But that was for Freeman at 1B and Vlad a 3B. |
