Earned the start right there. And up against a good Carolina team so can see just what he can really do. Honestly if the kid just gives us a decent chance to win will be happy.

I see both sides. He didn’t feel the need to shelter Matthews from any matchup and figured he would come out ahead but at the same time I don’t think he was expecting Marner and hyman to be invisible.
