Pearson should be out there, best net front guy on the team

Some team will probably pay 2nd liner value for him. Might have to pull the trigger
- Nucker101

Rather move Boeser, but at least one of Brock or Garland has to go.

Best Canucks team in 7 years.

Was a fun game though.

He’s a nice role player

Would be a clear 3C here

- Nucker101

Yup.
They need to end the experiment of Pouty at centre. He is way to weak and is basically a PP specialist.

It’s a process, let the new management team assess the situation, takes months, and then make some moves. Patience young fella.

I went through about 40 pages of blogs around the draft. I seen no mention of anyone but Tkachuk, Dubois, or Sergachev. One mention of Brown.

There was not a lot of prospect talk back in those days on the blogs.

Reading the old book, April 1st I wanted Chychrun and again on June 1st Chychrun was the guy I wanted. I also wanted Brandon Hagel in the 4th round. Don't remember wanting him.

No one was written down except for mine.

- manvanfan

I don't give a (frank) too much about your notes, they're inconsistent at best. I absolutely remember wanting chychrun and so did Bieksa. Wether or not you were there to document it is about as accurate as the Norse stories.

Boeser is the passenger needing a flight outta here. Never a threat & not even good at being 1 dimensional.

I got laughed at for suggesting that you could replace him with Mike Hoffman, who's a PP sniper that is pretty meh at 5v5.

Look at the first minute or two of this video, he'll score the same goals EP does with the proper setup man to feed him

Rutherford has been here for months, Granato lives in Vancouver, they should have some 8deas on who needs to go.

I don’t really pay attention to you guys and your prospect talk, but just came across this on the twitter:

In the last 20 years, the best U17 seasons in the BCHL include:
Newhook, 1.47 pt/gm
Turris, 1.26 pt/gm
Brulé, 1.19 pt/gm
Jost, 0.98 pt/gm
Johnson (Kent), 0.81 pt/gm

This year, Matthew Wood, a 6’3”, 185lbs fwd is putting up 1.95 pt/gm.

Nobody talks about him for the 2023 draft

Are we talking about him?

Nah….things don’t progress that quickly, they just don’t. Other than Rutherford, no ones ever been in a position of power enough to make a final decision.

Pretty much the same goals that Pouty score.
Definitely a PP specialist, and not trying to imply that those types aren't needed.

Is it too much to ask that the Canucks should have a real orca whale swimming underneath the ice at Rogers Arena??

How long did it take Habs and new management to make some changes in on ice personnel?

They were the worst team in the league, it couldn’t get worse. Canucks are fighting for a playoff spot. Different situation.
