Honestly, I see Boudreau lasting this season and the next then being canned, he's just another Torts (but not as controversial or fiery) that FA brought in to try and squeeze out a playoff run for this season. It'll ultimately fail, but there it is.

Thought about the Boudreau situation as well. Even if the Nucks miss this year (odds are they will) the record under Boudreau with a Benning built roster is impressive so far. A full year under BB and they 'should' be easily in the PO's...but stranger things have happened...

To be fair, when you’re between the dots and turn the puck over and it’s already outside your zone going the other way you can’t actually get back in time to stop an original shot, but they might not score on the first chance so you better (frank)ing get on your horse.

Can't win them all. Just too bad Canucks dug themselves the hole they did at the start of the year.

They are still 9th in points percentage since Bruce took over. Hard to ignore the success of a team that is still relatively young.

Yeah, last night I was watching and thinking Boudreau needs to do more peewee style battle drills in practice, because it didn’t matter if it was 2-3 or 3-2 the Wings always came up with the puck.

Allvin was talking the other week about wanting to see consistency from the team. I'm sure there will be some shake ups at some point, but these slow starts and lack of motivation are going to get players moved sooner rather than later.

Difficult week for management ahead.

It’s always been the likely outcome, being so far back with more games played. Sure it would be nice to make the playoffs, but all 82 games count.
