Hertl is 28 has 48 pts is a center and just gotnover 8mill per x 8 years. Jt is worth roughly 9.5 based on that. Trade him I'm the off season. Good luck JT you earned it buddy

He will be 20 this year. Playing basically 3rd pairing minutes with little special teams. 9 points on the season I believe. Not good for an offensive D. Not mean, pretty soft.

He seems to be making strides but at this rate. It seems a bit unlikely* that he makes the NhL unless he takes a major step forward.

A 3rd round project with size & good skating. Young & time to develop against men. Give him 2-3yrs. 23yrs old for a D isn’t old & not older than NCAA UFA D. Still no guarantees. 3rd pairing maybe.

Hes going going to get more. He is legit the type of player everyone wants. Whoever can fit him and has a rough 3 to 4 year window will go big money and eat the last 3ish years on the deal. 7 x 9.5 is my guess on open market to New York.
