Sounds like a decent project moving forward. But we we're already happy with getting that first rounder in 2023.

I think the reports are Cleveland will keep Ramirez for now and then look to move him at the deadline.

Thats fine by me. Even without the left bat I like the Jays a lot this year. Really fixed the rotation.

Yep, agreed. Very excited about this season. Even if they begin with this lineup, they will be very competitive and will be able to add pieces going forward.

On 32 thoughts freidman said ownership almost went under 20 years ago when they sold off…have never wanted to do it again since.

I feel bad for the true fans, they’ll never get a good team from this. Just false hope.

Chiarot played over 25 mins a game against the Leafs (and during the whole playoffs run).

Of course defeating the Leafs was a team effort but he was a big part of it.

And I'm sure there are plenty of Leafs players who would rather not receive his crosschecks.

Good thing Boston lost last night. Leafs are close to being knocked into the Wild Card spot.

And to my comment from last night, a lot of you responded with the comment that Chariot didn't beat the Leafs but none of you listed which of our D is better than him.

He's a good D man, we could've used him in our line up, the price wasn't too high.

I wanted Manson too, a lot of you guys said he sucked too, "not the player he used to be", etc. Guess the Avs didn't see it that way.

Well yesterday you claimed we wouldn't get a first rounder because Chiarot wasn't that good.

Chiarot would have been a great pickup by the Leafs and he's gonna help the Panthers alot.

Stats aren't everything.
