I think they should care about it, because we already have players we can force to the other side and it go badly without having to spend the assets. Have already proven it can be done with Muzzin, Rielly, Sandin and Dermott.
And I'm a big Liljegren fan, but I look to avoid playing him in the playoffs. He's already shown pressure spots are difficult for him, as they should be... He's a rookie. Why put him through a playoff drive and expect it to go well when he's already showing certain spots can be tough for him in the regular season. - joel878
Caring about it has already got Holl on the team, so I'm cool with them not forcing it.
For me, as long as the guy they bring in is good, I'm cool with them being either handed.
I've no problem with Liljegren playing in the playoffs. He does a lot more right than wrong. But he'll probably (if Muzzin is healthy and they trade for another guy) switch back and forth with Sandin in and out of the lineup. |

Love me a Monastrell. Sucks that the LCBO sells them seasonally. - AdamFrench

That's exactly the problem. Holl is on the team because they don't have someone who can play the right side better. They keep forcing LD to the right to compensate for it and it keeps going badly, continuing to do that isn't gonna fix anything.
Doesn't have to be a right hander but someone needs to be able to play the right side. Just as with Brodie, a left hander who's played the right most of his career, and does so well, would do fine.
Another left hander who plays the left and is poop on the right does not push Holl out of the lineup. |

You reminded me of a classic Donavan Album (Cosmic Wheels). I think you would like this song.

Lol
That excited my bowels.
Well, the chipotle habanero bean beef chili and mango habanero salad may have contributed too but the song was appropriate. |

Shiraz - same genus as Syrah, not the same as Grenache. Many Aussie wines (majority) have gone to non-traditional encapsulations (twist tops for simplicity). They generally don't age, as there is no exposure to oxygen as there would be with bottles that have corks. Cellar temperature is fine for many Aussie Shiraz, there are exceptions. It is more of a fruit forward varietal rather than a tannic monster. Some California Zinfandels can be very good. I don't mind some of these served at cellar temperature for the same reason. Grenache is mostly a Southern Rhone and Spanish varietal I generally would go room temperature with these. Its a matter of taste.
I've had Grange (the most expensive Aussie Shiraz) on 5 occasions. Not a fan, prefer others especially for that price.
Northern Rhone Syrah - are some of my favorite wines. Would go room temperature always with these. Single Vineyard Guigal and Chave Hermitage wines are exceptional. - winsix
Cellared v room temp ...fine. I thought you meant "cold".
iI'm a Rhone and/or South France slut so I was referring to the Syrah/Grenache blends that fill my cellar at home. I do drink a lot of Barossa Shiraz though as well. Those are possibly the exceptions you were speaking about. The right big bold Shiraz or blends out of the Barossa are full of flavour.

It's Mourvèdre - one of the varietals used in Chateauneuf du pape, some Bordeaux Blends (both France and California). The Monastrell (what its called in Spain) is an interesting earthy varietal. And you can always get it Frenchie.

If they're bringing a guy in, then 100% that guy'll be better than Holl. Be default. Leafs got 2 RD better than Holl on the roster already, which is why I don't think it overly matters what handed they are.
If they bring in a guy like Gio, then they can put him back with Brodie and play Rielly with Boosh still. Could even help Muzzin with getting 3rd pairing minutes with Liljegren/Sandin. If it's another guy, put Brodie back with Rielly and put Boosh with new guy. |

Which still leaves a 6th spot, on the right... And come playoff time I'm betting they play Holl over Liljegren in that spot. Because experience. That's what I'm hoping they avoid. |

Find out who the importer is. They will gladly deliver it to your door at the same price you pay the LCBO. They will also offer you better quality wines from the same producer when availalble.
