I think he could do better with Sutter and the Flames. He sucked most of the year with Seattle. Lousy defensively and was not really scoring. Donato, Appleton, Blackwell and Donskoi all were far better. He has played better of late but still not who you thought Seattle nabbed.

See how and if he gets better in Calgary.

He’s been god awful. Nowhere near how he played in Nashville. Stats dont tell the tale. I actually watch the Kraken games. Yes better recently but he has been brutal. Now how much was being in Seattle? They aren’t good for a number of reasons.

I think it’s a great addition and the Friedman says the competition for his services were fierce. For good reason in my opinion.

He’s only played good the past 10 games or so. Disagree and spin it but if he was that solid Francis would have kept him. He’s been beyond dissapointing. Teams are betting on him rebounding and returning to his prior form. Its a gamble at a pretty high cost.

We shall see.
