Yeah, that was from Friday. Rick D asked what he thinks the Canucks should do based on the results from the games this weekend and that was his response. But do you disagree? Should the management group let two games determine the course of the franchise? If they win both go all in, if they lose both sell everything? - 1970vintage
Honestly, I hope they sell, regardless of what the results of these next two games are. I don't want to see a situation where we hold onto everyone and then stay in mediocrity for another 7 years and get nothing for the UFAs that are going to want huge raises that with our cap problem, won't be able to hang onto them, even IF want to retain them. |

They'll need to get past both Tampa and Carolina to get to the Finals, and I think this is Colorado's Cup to lose. Colorado beats Florida in the SCF 4-2 - DariusKnight
Could very well happen. I have a COL-TBAY final in my pool but can COL get past that one round where they play like crap? Team reminds of those great SJ teams and WAS teams that could never break through maybe it is finally Colorado's year like WAS a few years back. |

I don’t think they need to “sell” per se, just don’t do something dumb. I was more so just agreeing that the results of these two games shouldn’t change anything with the plan. |

I guess the response was fine then. I don't see the same crying over another decade of losing if they don't make up their mind on Monday on Tyler Motte. |

Chiarot is nice but Giroux is a career loser - Nucker101
lol true. It will be interesting if he brings that to FLA. Vegas looks to be playing better but man did they look bad the first 10-12 games with Eichel. Giroux might have the same effect in FLA but not to the extent Eichel had in VGK. |

Totally agree, they’ve basically got a free pass this year. I don’t think they move anyone before the summer. |

I never quite understood why some of these guys sign with these teams. NYR have made a lot of draft picks and competition is extra stiff and there current D are young. |

Jake Voracek scored his 4th goal of the season tonight. To go along with his 41st assist.
32 years old. Another vet that is aging very well. |

Oh joy, another potential Frank Corrado the SUPER OLYMPIAN that we'd whine about never getting a real shot and then lose him to waivers to the Leafs... and then never hear about him again. |

I think the last game against the Wings was the telling game for me. Of couse still mathematically in it but they lost ground to three competing . I know the true fans are still hoping but I think that was a huge loss the last game.
Now I am just enjoying hockey . |

So why are you worried about if Florida has first round picks or not? - 1970vintage
No clue why it matters whatsoever. Glad we’ve got lots of inexperience. |
