They’d be spending that million one way or the other. Don’t think the money matters. He’s going to FL and the deal is going to be disappointing, but, I guess, it’s better than nothing?

Those who said if they don't get a good enough deal, then they should not trade Giroux aren't thinking clearly. You make the best deal you can and move him. For whatever that is.

Myers is pretty much awful. Seems to suffer from a serious case of low hockey IQ. Sorry bout that. Hearing that the deal to Florida is done, but no details as of yet.

Trade call has not happened yet so nothing officially done, but sounds like a big haul for the Ducks in exchange for Hampus Lindholm if the deal goes through with Boston: a 1st-Rd pick this year, 2nd RD pick in 23, 2nd RD pick in 24 plus young roster player…

Yes you can absolutely find a #6th dman for less than 2.5. See Justin Braun as 1 example.

There is a risk Cliff. Myers though is one of your boys so I get it.

Your always the one harping on the cap yes you want to pay myers 2.5. Doesn't seem like a good use of money.

Has nothing to do with Fletcher at all. At the end of the Day G controls where he wants to go. FLA was the #1 choice, Chuck's only going to get what FLA is willing to offer and the Flyers cant just walk away or look elsewhere

So to some he is a sure fire thing if he’s treated well. Can’t wait to see those folks criticize Tippett when he’s been a better point producer in the AHL and is more NHL ready than Frost

Tippet cannot be the center piece of the deal, he simply is not close to good enough, not a top 6 forward even.

They started questioning him during a bad season team wise. A player doesn't have a good hockey IQ and then develop a bad hockey IQ. A low hockey IQ is not Myers issue.

You beat me to it. Literally the worst prospect linked to a trade for G. Hoping there is a lot more, but Fletch is a clown so there may not be. Although, G probably didn’t want to go out west and it may have limited the gm.
