Two wins this weekend within a total time of day span of 24 HOURS & 15 MINUTES from the start of the first game at 8:15pm last night, through the end of this one at 8:30pm tonight, thanks to both Shesty & even greater so, to Georgiev.

And they came against the back to back Cup Champs Lightning, and another top 3 Cup contender in the East in the Hurricanes; while also holding both teams to a total of just 1 goal yielded, which came on a Tampa power play.

This was the third game this season the Rangers recorded only 18 SOG, and they won them all.

The issue is also that these dmen aren’t getting the puck to the forwards and the forwards are all to tired to do anything. Nemeth is awful. And I’m sorry, but Schnieder has been exposed a bit recently.

Yes, the greater aware Rangers fans heading into last night's March 19th matchup at Tampa, were all suddenly worried about the surging Capitals, (prior to today's home loss to Dallas), going 7-0-1 in March, after the Caps 4-3 shootout win on Friday night also coming in the second of back to back date games played in Carolina. That despite the Rangers being 5-3-0 in March prior to their win at Tampa, for an 82 games season pace of 102 PTS. still.

Their worry was due to the Rangers leading the Capitals as of the start of all games played just 12 days earlier on March 7th by 8 POINTS, while also having 1 Game In Hand, for a possible 10 POINTS lead if winning that G.I.H.
After the Caps defeated the Canes on Friday, they suddenly trailed the idle Rangers by just 1 POINT; though with the Rangers having then 2 Games In Hand on them, for a possible 5 POINTS lead only if winning both those G.I.H.

I hope you see why their worry as recent as just 25 hours ago at the start of the Rangers/Tampa matchup.

So many Ranger fans in Tampa last night, it was funny to hear the "Igor" chants during the game. On the tv, it was obvious there were a lot of Ranger jerseys in the arena too.
But the bigger surprise was how well represented our fans were tonite in Carolina. I swear, I thought I actually heard the "Potvin Sucks" chant in the 2nd period! Anybody else catch that too??
