Journalist
Imagine a Toronto media over hyping a Maple Leaf (must be fact if Dregger thought a Leaf guy was good)

So you are a better source for information than sports journalists?! Ok. Cool. |

Adding some team speed Van should get a 3rd that they can use to trade for another 3LC like Richardson. |

We needed a defenseman if we traded Hamonic at least for the rest of the season. We essentially gained 3 mil in cap space because Dermott is easy to bury in the minors. It's a lateral move that's low risk, high reward. If he outplays his contract here, great, if not he's easier to waive and move on from. I also doubt this is the last move the management group makes. Wait until tomorrow at noon before ripping any moves made. |

Never. I take quips on here(or try to) as just trying to rile eachother up. I hope youre wrong about Dermott, havent watched him much myself. |

So you are giving up a draft pick to bury a guy in the AHL
Outstanding indeed. Could also be a MTA ?

Dermott can still grow. As a bottom pairing Dman for 1.5 I like the deal. |

I think folks are gonna be quite surprised how low the return is for boeser. The contract situation and the fact that the whole league knows he’s fallen out with Van … I don’t think anyone will do Vancouver a favour. We are typically the favour do-ers … and benning hasn’t been re-hired anywhere else. |

Did he bring in the defensive "talent" he inherited? He's better than the guy he's burying. |

Maybe we should let Don do advanced contract negotiations for the next 12 hours. |

As Marek or Friedman said yesterday, a Boeser deal will be complicated. |
