A top 80 pick in this draft for a sub replacement 3rd pairing defender while not retaining any salary this year or next is a massive win. A 5th would have been great, a 3rd is almost larceny.

Wasn’t coming out west a huge deal for hamonic? Not even to a playoff team … wonder if he reports. He would hardly report to Canucks this year.

As an aside, he’s been one of the few that played surprisingly consistent to me … guess that’s why someone wanted him. First sign of tank mode in full effect. Haha agree with the sad sentiment that we get excited over a 3rd round pick, our old one at that … the bar is below low!
