I don't think Leafs would be actively trying to move a young RHD signed for 1.5 mil for another year if I was wrong.

I don't want to trade picks, but if you just look at it like Hamonic for Dermott its a younger D, playing in the same spot in the lineup, for 1.5 million less. Its an OK deal, and hopefully Dermott surprises.
