Standard GM speak, even if he had a deal on the table already he'd still say that hoping to drive up the price, my guess is he's hoping that someone will bite and give him more than what he's been offered already. If not then you circle back around draft day.

With moves like this, it's easy to read the Myers is on team sell. Pretty blatant, if you ask me.

The only thing to not like about Miller is that he will give up on a play if it gets turned over. In those situations he will refuse to back check, and even hurry to get off the ice. Especially if he is the one that fvcks up.
