I really thought Rutherford would bring more boldness ... he's running out of time. He got the clear sign from his team this weekend ... there's not much left but a prayer for playoffs.

I don't think things get significantly better in the off season when $ is more priority. Teams tend to be more short sighted at deadline chasing that elusive playoff deep run and worrying about remaining years in the off-season.

Imo the TDL is better for sellers. Offseason is a different beast some say more teams can be involved but I believe more desperation is at the TDL.

Can't disagree.

Even when I'm poop talking the moves, the players it's all a result of being a fan that cares and knows full well I'm a fan for life. It's just been a long long rough stretch. Standing pat again feels old regime-ish ... even if it's just optics.
