teams want cost controlled term. Its hard to use OTT as a benchmark for any trade as they overpay left right and center on everything.

To me, a 4th for Motte isnt a fantastic return, but it means Allvin is getting something for his UFAs and isn't pushing the team to squeek into the playoffs. Its an indication that he is willing to listen and sell, which is what this team needs to do.

Since I believe strongly he’s not getting 7.5m…

If he holds out I’m fine with that. Can squeeze him even more while he gets rusty & his rep takes a hit. I like a GM that sets a price & holds firm. Hoping PA is just that.
