You poor bastard. I enjoyed seeing my NFL and NBA teams win championships recently
You just have the Canucks - Nucker101
I used to watch the championship games in every sport with my dad. Make wings and nachos and have a few drinks, but I won't pretend that I know anything about any other sports. They just don't interest me. I respect the athleticism and what not, but they just don't hit the same as hockey for me
So why not keep your third round pick , ride out the next twenty games with Juulsen and Burrows and sign Matt Benning for 1 mil in the summer . Benning is a full time Dman bottom pairing , better , and you keep your pick. You can also use that pick to draft a D prospect. - VANTEL
I thought I outlined it pretty good. There's not enough D depth to just wait for that 3rd rounder to develop. If we're looking to move another D or 2 for picks and prospects in the summer what does that leave us? What if we, God forbid, trade a D for a forward?
Adding Dermott on the cheap expiring contract GIVES US MORE FLEXIBILITY
FOR FUTURE MOVES.
The guys you mentioned aren't nearly as good as Dermott. Personally, I'm done with anything Benning for the next decade or so.

Patrik Allvin on the Motte trade: Talking to a lot of teams and feeling out what other teams think of our players, that’s where we ended up with that 4th round pick for Tyler.

Fair. I mean I’m a bigger Nucks fan than Raps/Eagles and always will be. NFL is easy since it’s just 17-20 games a year. NBA I don’t watch live unless it’s the playoffs since I don’t have the time and it’s way faster watching it with the ability to fast forward in between whistles. Takes less than an hour.
Well I get mixed messages. Anaheim who are right where we are are selling off everything and everyone here is drooling . It's fine if they don't ice a competitive team but we have to ice a competitive one? I think if you had a poll done in here at least 50% would say Canucks are not a competitive team.
I seen the roster last night it had Petan Chiasson Juulsen Hunt . Does that sound like a competitive roster? There are 18 games left . Keep the pick keep your cap room. - VANTEL
Ok, so it’s not Dermott that’s got you worked up, it’s that you’re not happy with the type of moves completed today. What was your expectation, full scale sell off?

What’s your opinion of the chances a 3rd round D makes the NHL & how long will it take?
I don't know what people don't understand, I think I have been pretty clear with my opinion of this team.
Everyone means everyone, I don't give 2 shots if someone looks shiny or makes a few nice saves, this group is a contender for the bubble cup, for the next decade.
They can't wash their hands fast enough, of this stink.
For the life of me I don’t understand why you are so down on Dermott before he’s even played one game for the Nucks. Looking at his stats he seems like your typical 6/7/8 dman. Cheap depth as far as I can tell.
I don’t watch the leafs very much but obviously you do. Give me your scouting report on this Dermott kid. - bloatedmosquito

Well I would have saved the cap and signed a player that does make us better but we all do have different views.

The NBA sucks the green weenie. If I arrived late for the last 3mins & sober then started drinking I could be falling down drunk an hour later when the game ended.

Nope not a full scale sell off.
I think they will add to the team this summer and let players develop more.
I think they will sign Karlsson this summer and bring in Lockwood . Sign Lammikko .
I hope they go after a guy like Kane and add Nichushkin .
Not sure what they do with Boeser and don't really care one way or the other.

different strokes for different folks.
I find baseball, golf and soccer boring to watch, but I can see why some people enjoy it and I'm cool with them enjoying it even though it's not for me.
