I really don't get the hate on the Paul/Joseph trade from many people. Nick Paul was a great locker room guy, but you can't give players like that term/money when you can sub in a cheaper and younger guy. If you give your 3rd/4th liners too much you get an issue like Edmonton has now with way too much money tied up in players that are doing nothing for you and trying to get out from under it. Paul is one of those trap players come contract time, great person, decent player, but he's not going to move the needle too far towards the cup. I'm definitely more excited for Joseph who at least has some upside for a bit more offensive depth |

Going to be tough for you to hate on Dorian now, moving J. Brown and a 7th for Senyshyn and a 5th. - Beergu
The kid will play in Belleville, 100%. But he's an Ottawa kid. The fact they got a body for Belleville is a huge plus for their playoff push down there.

He was a part of that Bruins 2016 botched draft when they had 3 picks in the first round and let Keith Gretzky make a couple of the picks.
he's not a bust he's just not a first rounder. the Senyshyn kid. |

Trade you a Holland for a Dorian.
Holland just gave up a 2nd with Lagesson for Kulak. |

Colin White went right in the middle of those picks, is from Boston area too. I'm shocked they didnt' pick him and I've been saying a White for Debrusk trade makes sense for a while now.

In fairness, Lauzon somehow netted Seattle a second rounder. Mind boggling... |

The real benefit is getting J. Brown away from DJ Smith's lineup card for the last 1/4 of the season, and removing any possibility of an extension... Senyshyn and a mid-round pick is gravy.

Is there something the Bruins are seeing that we aren't?
I imagine he'll get much less icetime there. |

Looking at their blueline, he's a 7th dman.

Sanford to Winnipeg - Kevin Francis
For?
PD might yet save his own skin..
If Connor Brown ever gets traded there is going to be a fire sale on Jerseys in ottawa.. |
|
|

Ottawa will have to eat salary if they want to move Tierney. MIN and NSH are in on him. |

That's what I was thinking too.
Will Sanderson play in Belleville if/when he signs his entry level deal?
My understanding is that it burns a year of the ELC eithr way, so they might want to gie him a look in the NHL either way and then send him down to get some professional experience. |
